Give or Take event

As part of Buy Nothing New Month | Keep Britain Tidy‘s campaign, which runs throughout January, we are holding a Give or Take event on Saturday 27 January 2024, at The Village in Market Harborough.

The event provides an opportunity to rehome items you no longer want – perhaps even a Christmas gift that you are unlikely to use – and to find something that you would like for free.

You don’t need to bring an item to take an item because the event is all about keeping items in use for longer through reuse, swapping, sharing, repairing and donating.

Item’s given are to be dropped off between 9 am and 11 am, ready for the event at 11 am.

When: Saturday 27 January

Drop off time: 9 am to 11 am

Event time: 11 am to 1 pm

Where: The Village, 65 St Mary’s Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7DS

Items accepted: Books, DVDs/CDs, Jigsaws, toys, homeware, kitchenware, etc All items must be in good clean condition and in full working order.

We can’t accept: large furniture, white goods, electrical items, dirty or broken items.
